Description:
This was a typewriter that my grandmother purchased new for use by my mother and my aunt while they were in high school. I remember when I was young, my mother would barrow this from my grandmother each year to fill out tax forms. There is a container with correction slips adhered to the right side, but I have no desire to remove it, since it's something I remember from my youth. The typewriter is in excellent condition, except for the platen rubber which has hardened with age. No repairs have been done to this machine, and very little cleaning. I do not believe that it has been in regular use since the 1970s, and I suspect that occasional use ceased sometime in the late 1980s.

I'm new to collecting, but have acquired enough machines that I thought I should probably register them here.
