Description:
Picked up on FB Marketplace with an old typing desk (casters until something heavy is put ontop, then it settles down onto regular table feet). This was in darn good shape but it did need a basic cleaning. Now it's a great typer—I'm probably going to donate this to our local coffee house.

Mother, writer, podcaster, wife, crafter...not necessarily in that order.
Enjoying cleaning and using: 1961 Royal 16" (FPE-16-7189705), 1957 Underwood SX-50 11" (7972487), 1970(?) Olivetti Lettera 33/DL (5999279), and a 1968 Smith-Corona Sterling 12 ( 6MLA-140880).
Then there's my Great-grandfather's 1949 Smith-Corona Super-speed, which is at Philly Typewriter for rehab.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Smith Corona Sterling 12 6MLA on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Smith Corona Serial Number page and the Smith Corona Sterling 12 6MLA By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
