1968 Royal (Silver-Seiko) Apollo 10 Serial # 8945233 1968 Royal (Silver-Seiko) Apollo 10 typewriter, Serial # 8945233 John Abbott's 1968 Royal (Silver-Seiko) Apollo 10 typewriter. 2022-08-13 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of John Abbott: 1968 Royal (Silver-Seiko) Apollo 10 Serial # 8945233 Wife picked this up at a local second hand store. Pretty sure this is an Imperial 300. However, the serial number is higher than anything I can find. I guessing it was made in 1970 or 1971, but cannot confirm that.

I started my collection back in 2017 when I found a 1993 Brother WP-1250, which was very close to the typewriter I owned and used to write letters home while I was stationed in Korea serving in the US Air Force (I later discovered it was most likely the Brother WP-1150, so I picked that up). In 2018, my wife took me to one of the local antique store and I saw an old typewriter that caught my eye. My wife purchased it for me for Christmas (a 1932 Royal 10). My wife and I decided to limit my collection to 5 typewriters, so I need to sell off my surplus.
