Description:
This 666 was found at a thrift store in quite a state. I live in Northern California, but I think this one was further up in the mountains, because it had clearly been in a damp environment, and there was a good deal of rust and pitting. Cleaned up beautifully though! I wonder why Brother decided to consider this a JP-1 as well, and not give it a sub line? There's enough different here that I'd consider it separate, even if the internals are identical.

I'm a high school English teacher. Whenever I have to teach my students how to format a paper, I unleash a flock of Charger 11's at them! (they love it). I am most interested in the Brother brand, but I dabble in any and all machines.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Remington (Brother) 666 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Remington (Brother) Serial Number page and the Remington (Brother) 666 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
