Description:
This machine belonged to the sister of the seller. The sister did not want to keep it, so the seller had kept it in storage at the farm. The time had finally where nobody felt a need to keep it and it just took up space. A very nice machine with very nice typing action. A somewhat hard platen as is typical for Olympias, causing some ghosting from time to time. Practical with the extra wide carriage as well for sure. I love how it feels to work this machine, so any time I have to sit down and actually type a whole lot, this is often my choice. It is the workhorse of the collection. Without a doubt the one easiest to handle, though to me personally not the machine I usually can type the fastest on.

I am a Norwegian fellow who enjoys tinkering and fixing up typewriters. One day I decided I wanted a typewriter to write letters on. I bought one that turned out not to work. I got annoyed and decided I should be able to figure out what was wrong and fix it. I did it, but the rush of successfully mending such an intricate machine was like a drug. I wanted more. I decided I would try to buy non-functioning, but pretty machines, fix them and sell them before repeating the process. What I didn't expect was that I would fall in love with the machines I fix so now I suddenly find myself a bit of a collector.
