I bought this machine because I like the flat, portable, handy machines and it turned out to be amazing to write on. Now it's my first choice, when I have to write something.
My mother-in-law had one just like this, and she freaked out when she saw it, she told me that back in the days, it was a big deal to receive a typewriter as a gift, and her friends had envied her.

I just started collecting typewriters a little less than a year ago.
I own 10 of them, but only 8 1/2 of them are in working condition at the moment.
