1967 Webster XL-500 Serial # B7539399 1967 Webster XL-500 typewriter, Serial # B7539399 Robert White's 1967 Webster XL-500 typewriter. 2020-01-13 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Robert White: 1967 Webster XL-500 Serial # B7539399 This was found at a yard sale in bad condition. The case was so ruined I had to throw it away, but the typewriter seems usable after cleaning it up. The problem is that it is missing the right platen knob, so I need to see if I can locate that somewhere in order to get it back into working condition. There is also some rust around that area, but I think it just adds character.
