Description:
Smith-Corona Super Sterling from ebay. Arrived in fine shape. A few tune-ups need to be done.
1-The type alignment when the shift-lock key alignment is engaged does not match the shift and small caps alignment. >> adjust/bend the trigger bar at the bottom.
2-The space bar has some free play and when typing the are times when it does not trigger.>>adjust the bumpers and bars at the bottom of the space bar.
3-The @ type bar sticks. >> Clean the type bars.
4-Platen is a little hard. >> Rubber rejuvenator
Looking forward to tuning her up as as i go along typing.
