Smith Corona manufactured for Sears with few tweaks - like the top sliding out then up... two replaceable type slugs with choice of math symbols included. Odd hybrid of very solid metal body with plastic bits here and there. Crisp type action.

First started using a SMC Galaxie Twelve to type out and paste a zine in high school in the late 80's - I've been picking up typewriters as opportunity presents itself ever since. It's more of a casual hobby than a compulsion. Writing on a typewriter seems just the right speed for not getting ahead of what I have to say.
