Description:
Penncrest Caravelle 10 made by Smith-Corona. I like these designs for JC Penny. Reminds me of cars of the period. It's a good typer. Still made with all metal shells. Found in this 2-tone blue and a less common maroon and gold. Made in both 10 and 12 carriage sizes. I find rock hard platens in these 60s SCM machines while I have typewriters from the early 50s that still have pliable platens.

I am a retired graphic artist and I began collecting typewriters in 2021. I like machines from the 50s and 60s. Other interests include music, film making, fly fishing and tinkering with classic VWs.
