Lovely SM9 from West Germany, works like a charm. No known issues. First time having to do a deep clean on the case.
Best thing, I bought it for $1.00 CAD at auction. Originally sold in Nambia, has the English Pound sign instead of the Dollar sign.

I rediscovered typewriters about a year ago when I got back my Hermes 3000 from my daughter. I bought it to gift her on the occcasion of her first born. Then it sat for about a decade, I brought it home and have been on it ever since. I've taken up buying them, fixing and cleaning, then gifting them to friends who show an interest. I have to give them away otherwise I'd be a hoarder!
