Small. compact all-metal typewriter made in Portugal when ABC was acquired by Messa in 1967. This is a dual-language version, with English all caps and Japanese katakana.

I'm an archaeologist who writes heritage books and collects Japanese ceramics as well as quite a number of typewriters that I've acquired through purchase or as gifts over the last 10 years in the Philippines as well as in the US and Japan.
I'm currently a visiting professor at a university in Japan and it is heaven here to see so many typewriters being auctioned online!
