1966 Sears Citation 2 Serial # Unknown 1966 Sears Citation 2 typewriter, Serial # Unknown Natalie E's 1966 Sears Citation 2 typewriter. 2022-06-28 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Natalie E: 1966 Sears Citation 2 Serial # Unknown I love the feel of this typewriter. It's my second favorite, after my Erika. It's not much in the looks department, but I love its italic font more than I even like script. It has a satisfying, ratchety sort of feel. Its bell sounds horribly anti-climactic and muffled. It's great.

Longtime poet with seven typewriters in my collection currently (not counting ones I'm in the process of selling). I'm a super speedy typist, so my favorite machines are the ones that require the lightest touch to operate. Over the years I have learned the hard way that how light of a touch a typewriter requires is definitely subjective; many machines others say are "easy", I find cumbersome. But I love all my machines and collecting them is sadly addictive (sadly since they are difficult to acquire on the cheap locally, and they certainly take up more space than my knickknack collection. Ha).
