Description:
I believe this is a desktop version of the Royal Safari. It has what I think are Greek keys used in making mathematical formulas thrown in with the usual QWERTY configuration. Amazing!

I'm an archaeologist who writes heritage books and collects Japanese ceramics as well as quite a number of typewriters that I've acquired through purchase or as gifts over the last 10 years in the Philippines as well as in the US and Japan.
I'm currently a visiting professor at a university in Japan and it is heaven here to see so many typewriters being auctioned online!
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal Safari on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal Safari By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
