Description:
Love this super stylish serious 60s business machine! This tailored and sinister machine is called Mr. Kaplan. I love typing on this'n! Smooth action, but not so smooth you forget you're doing something important! I like the Custom more than the Royal machines that followed in this line.

Another Gen-Xer who learned typing in High School on an IBM Selectric. Wrote a few college papers on the family's Royal HH and used a brother word processor with a daisy wheel to get my BA. Now a psychotherapist who still has the HH and has added a few awesome friends to the growing collection of mini printing presses..
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal Custom on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal Custom By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
