Description:
You know you've got typewriter fever when you're back at the thrift store looking for another machine, just days after securing a nifty script typeface typer. But for $25 (typewriter and case) I couldn't pass it up. Needed a good cleaning and a new ribbon, but otherwise works well. The word that comes to mind is "solid." It feels durable.

Spotted a Royal KMG at a thrift store one day and it became a surprising source of inspiration.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia SM9 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia SM9 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
