Description:
This is my other SG3 that I have long delayed posting. It is much much dirtier than my other one, but unlike my first one I didn't spray it down with WD40 (I had no idea it would do more bad then good, it was months and months ago...) so as a result it worked better in comparison for quite a while, until I dunk-cleaned the other one. To use it I would have to switch the carriages, the one that was on this machine has a cracked feed roller that is IMPOSSIBLE to get to! This SG3 spends most of its time on my shelf now, and probably will continue to until I get around to giving it a deep cleaning too.
The tape? As I found it, the plastic paper guide was taped to the side of the machine. There was so much tape you could hardly tell what was stuck to it! I could't get it all off, there was so much!

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia SG3 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia SG3 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
