Description:
This is a fine example of the Consul 232. The utilitarian monochromatic color scheme is spot-on and it types like a dream, though it is a little loud; but, what else can you expect from a 60's ultra-portable?

I'm a visual designer and typewriter freak from Nashville, TN. I've been collecting and trading since high school, when I inherited my grandmother's Smith Corona Electra 120. It's still going strong and so is my collection.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Consul 232 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Consul Serial Number page and the Consul 232 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
