He says this model 225 differs from the model 224 in that the 225 does not have tabs. It's a repaint and he did a good job. It was one of the first typewriters I bought because I liked the looks. It's a good typer but the platen is as hard as stone mountain. Weighs over 15 lbs. Calling the date as 1966, comparing to existing 224 models on the database.
