I acquired this in Jan 2019 from Duane Jensen (PhoenixTypewriter). My "Brother 88" is a JP-1 variant (2nd generation) that was made in July 1966 in Nagoya, Japan. I have enjoyed this immensely . I think my version is the US/American version of the Majestic that were sold in Canada. Furthermore, the same body style/type were also sold in Europe but were under Quelle's Privileg name badge.

Just a "Typewriter Nut". I like collecting technologies from the past such as typewriters especially the ones with special/rare typefaces. There's just something about learning how things were made (& worked) back in the day!
