Here's some subtle advertising! Royal's keep-your-fingers-clean method of installing ribbons was to make a molded plastic one-piece pack of two enclosed ribbons with a break-away bar between them---the Twin Pak. Here's a pic of the serial number; good luck discerning that second character. A close-up is in the next pic. You could make a case that the first three characters are a different typestyle from the last six and thus are a separately stamped prefix, except that the 6 and the 0 look like the same style....
