Description:
Cleaned , repaired and restored — this early-model SM9 has the Senatorial #71 typeface. Photographed here at my typewriter workshop in Hong Kong. I have restored a couple of post 1970s SM9s but this 1965 model is close to perfect. The carriage glides as if on butter, a light touch and consistent type. Outstanding.
