Description:
My wife found for me at Antique Market in Goderich, ON. Semi-outdoors, in the rain. Price was $29, but it was jammed for some reason. Turned out to just be because the shift lever was stuck in the down position. It was just caught on a tab for the bottom cover that was out of its slot. Brushes, startup instructions and original guarantee card in the case. Love this! Made in Italy.

My father brought with him a Hermes Rocket when he emigrated from the UK to Canada in 1967 and I remember playing with it as a kid. This memory was reignited while I was in Montreal for work this past February and came across a stationery shop that had five typewriters in the window. When I got home, I went on the hunt for my first typewriter - caught the bug and haven't stopped!
