1965 Facit TP2 Serial # P442732 1965 Facit TP2 typewriter, Serial # P442732 Kewin Sanfridsson's 1965 Facit TP2 typewriter. 2022-11-03 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Kewin Sanfridsson: 1965 Facit TP2 Serial # P442732 Here we got a Swedish typewriter from 1965, a Facit Privat. This was my second Privat typewriter. In my opinion the TP2/Privat Series 2 is better than the Privat Series 3 because when typeing on it, it doesn't feel mushy like a sponge instead it feels sturdy. It also have a more sleek design but that is probably because the surface is smoother and the colour is more appealing. While talking about colour, sorry for the miss-representation of it but the baby blue colour is super difficult to capture.
So the over all design of the TP2 is more to my liking.

Hi my name is Kewin and I'm a 24 years old from Sweden. I have a few hobbies like drawing and playing guitar but I do also like myself some project here and there which is where my interest in typewriters fits in. I have always collected things through my life but I did not expect typewriters to be my next big passion in collecting. I started collecting typewriters in the beginning of 2022 and so far I have 95* of them (4 of which is currently disassembled) . I find it really enjoyable to pickup a typewriter at a thrift store/second hand and starting to clean it up and get it to a working condition to the best of my ability and knowledge. (Excuse all the dog hairs in my pictures, I do actually try to remove the hair before taking the pictures. xD) Cheers!
