Description:
Found at a Salvation Army, this Automatic 12 was a gamble. Seems like every one of these that I come across, the clutches are bad or some other catastrophic failure develops over time. Other than this, they are very robust machines, and one of the few electrics that have some kind of soul.
The Automatic 12 is one of the rarer variants, and in this case has the pushbutton return as opposed to lever.
The action is respectable, but takes some getting used to after using manuals.
All in all, pretty cool styling for a machine that is almost always a glaxie-bodied machine of mischief. Even the plastic frontpiece of the ribbon cover has survived well.
