Description:
Delivered to Congress Hotel in Chicago, IL. Was then transported to a home and it stayed there, was forgotten about, and then I bought it off of eBay for $99. Not sure if it was worth that much but man it sure is beautiful. I think that this would be the perfect beginner typewriter because of how easy it is to use and how hefty it is. Types like a dream when you find the right one. I had to do a lot of work on mine since the alignment was off. One of the screws on the type plate was missing when I received it but I was able to dial the alignment in without that screw. The paintwork on this machine is OK, but a bit scuffed in a few places. Could definitely benefit from some Simple Green.

I collect manual typewriters. Ever since I received my first, I have been in love with the feel of lowering my fingers onto the keys, setting them into motion, and letting the hammers strike the page as my mind pours into my hands.
