This machine was on my want list because in my opinion it is the prettiest of the Smith Corona 6 series' various brandings and color options. I also want a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass someday, so the name got to me a little. Richard Mohlman kindly remembered my interested and alerted me when this one popped up on eBay. I snagged it with the first bid for a total of $55 including shipping, summer of 2016. It's just as good as any of the machines it shares a chassis with, but it is so much prettier.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Sears Cutlass on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Sears Serial Number page and the Sears Cutlass By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
