Description:
This machine was originally sold on October 9, 1964 for $115.95 after taxes. I found it in an antique store in Duncannon, Pennsylvania.
It is like most 6 series Smith Coronas if not ever so slightly better... The plastic on the ends of the carriage is quite brittle, the part on the right side broke off and I have it stashed in a drawer but I did refit it for the picture. This is one I actually do intend to see a fair bit of use from, but I got it because of the paper-work which I figured would be beneficial to post here.
Has now been sold to a new typewriter user. Shame to see my only machine with a receipt go, but I honestly never really used it much.
