Description:
Just another nice Olympia SM7 ...
No, wait! Script typeface. And the apothecary symbols?? What an odd combination! What druggist would do his ordering and billing in script? And what casual letter-writer would need to refer to drams, scruples, and fluid ounces? (Well, scruples maybe.) And what is that barred double lower case aa??
Stay tuned as the typospherians concoct an answer.

While I find all of mankind's inventions interesting, I am most enchanted by the human-scale arts and devices, the ones that can be created (and repaired) in a home workshop or studio; the ones that can be understood by looking at them; the ones that do something useful or stir admiration. Typewriters work for me.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia SM7 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia SM7 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
