An Olivetti-Underwood Studio 44
Made in 1964, outfitted with Pica No. 1 typeface (10 pitch 6 LPI)
This typewriter is in near pristine condition. There are very few blemishes on it and it cleaned up exceptionally well. The tapered case, a marbled white, however, was absolutely filthy and took considerable effort to clean up, but the outside turned out quite well indeed. The inside could not, however, be adequately cleaned without destroying the felt lining, at least what's left of it. This typewriter was found with the original owner's guide, the warranty card, brushes, an eraser shield, and a supply of carbon paper. A great find and relatively inexpensive. A fine addition to my collection and a fantastic typer!
