Olivetti Lettera 32 typewriter dating from the first year of production. The very first Lettera 32s still had the same smooth paint job as the Lettera 22. Later the paint became embossed.

I have been an Italian typewriter collector for many many years. At that time, I loved very old typewriters from late 1800s to early 1900s. After a break of a few years I returned to collect typewriters but no longer so old, I prefer now the design of the 40's, 50's and 60's. Yes, I am an affectionate collector of Olivetti, of course, but I'm attracted to all the other brands from that period, not just Italian.
