This Hermes Media 3 found its way in my collection in a real bad shape. After some hours of cleaning and maintance it is fit for the next years.
I like the touch of this particular machine much more than two of my other curvy Hermes Typewriters - both Hermes 3000. It feels more like my Hermes 3000 from the 70s.

My first memory of a typewriter is sitting on the lap of my Grandpa and typing around - that was an old Adler Typewriter. And now - around 45 Years later - I look back and recognize, that i typed my whole life from there. Many typewriters crossed my way, 20 Years of Piano Lessons and music making, many computers, study as computer scientist - seems that typing is my purpose of life. And now, many years later, I discovered manual typewriters again. Meanwhile I have a huge collection of typewriters and also try to fix and refurbish some of them. But there are many things to learn and I love that journey.
