Description:
Ebay find purchased for a pittance. Nice typing action, but the shift is a little heavy. Can be tinny. The top row of keys are angled aggressively owing to the design of the pivot points of the type bar linkages. Thinner than a Skyriter. Looks better too. Given away in 2018 or thereabouts.

Father, husband, typewriter collector. Probably the third-greatest English teacher you will meet today. A little bald, but very knowledgeable about club soda.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Consul 232 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Consul Serial Number page and the Consul 232 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
