Not so easy to find in Italy, the portable electric Smith-Corona are typewriters that fascinate me a lot. This specimen was found in fair conditions, partially not working and very dirty. But mechanical problems were easy to repair, even for me (I am not certainly a brilliant repairman....), so now the machine is in excellent general condition, clean and fully functional.

I have been an Italian typewriter collector for many many years. At that time, I loved very old typewriters from late 1800s to early 1900s. After a break of a few years I returned to collect typewriters but no longer so old, I prefer now the design of the 40's, 50's and 60's. Yes, I am an affectionate collector of Olivetti, of course, but I'm attracted to all the other brands from that period, not just Italian.
