Description:
I saw the typeface and felt it was different from anything I already had so I gave this machine a loving new home. Appears to be Numode No. 61 as per NOMDA. The type sample is my first pass, I might update it with a new ribbon installed. The period key is very touchy, it wants to go into power mode, so Iāll be practicing a light touch!

I have many pen pals and correspond via handwritten and typed letters. I have a (painful) sitting disability and type while standing- UPDATE! I can also type on an ultraportable I set up on my bed. Typing and collecting machines with different typefaces keeps me busy and happily distracted from the difficulties in life-fountain pens, too, and I can write legibly, in cursive, while laying down. Join me on Type Pals and register for the monthly postcard exchanges. The āCat Mewsā is a quarterly publication of the philatelic topical group Cats On Stamps Study Unit (COSSU), for which I am a column contributor. My cats are Wiffle Wizard and Urushi (Rushi) Blizzard, aka the Blizzard Sisters.
