Description:
My 1962 Royal got screwed up bad; I used it's pieces to fix-up this 1963--which was a parts machine--Royal Futura 800. On a good note, I come to find out she's an elite font type: Cool! This machine is at the end of the run before they started calling the Futura 800's Safari . . . I'll take the 800. Update 1/8/18, I sold this typewriter in a four typewriter package deal.

After finding a Smith-Corona Coronet 12 at a curb-side (in Winter while walking the dog) I carried it home; after it thawed out and started coming back to life I was hooked. My interest in this hobby lead to taking two parts typewriters to create one good unit. This typewriter aliment is (pretty much) in-curable!
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal Futura 800 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal Futura 800 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
