1963 Olympia SG1 Serial # 7-1035519 1963 Olympia SG1 typewriter, Serial # 7-1035519 Stephen Hanafin's 1963 Olympia SG1 typewriter. 2022-10-27 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Stephen Hanafin: 1963 Olympia SG1 Serial # 7-1035519 *** Sold 2022-10-27 ***

Great condition SG1 that I acquired from a fellow collector on OfferUp on 6-26-2021. It is missing part of the plastic paper rest, as is tradition with these, and the rubber grommets from the ribbon cover are also gone, but it is otherwise complete. Typeface is pica.
Since getting this I have made some minor fixes - the rear cover was installed upside down, so I righted it, and the right hand card guide was sagging so I got that straightened up too.

Carriage return occasionally will run past the left margin after using the margin release before operating the return, but once you move the carriage past the left margin again it works again.
