Description:
Newest addition to the collection, and my first plastic shell typewriter. After my most recent machine, an underwood from the 30s, this lightweight Adler typewriter is a great relief when it comes to moving it around, much easier! Since getting it I have taken it apart, cleaned it, and fitted a new ribbon.
As you can see by the sample, it is still not perfect. Some additional work will be necessary. The platten is rock hard, so exactly how well I can get it I'm not sure of.

New typewriter hobbyist from central Sweden. I got my first typewriter while working at a second hand store and I found one in the stores storage area and bought it for myself. The interest has grown from there since.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Adler Junior E on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Adler Serial Number page and the Adler Junior E By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
