Description:
This Ursula is clearly derived from the Erika model 12. It is in a beautiful shade of green. Found cheaply at a flea near Milan in beautiful condition and in perfect working order, no restoration work was necessary. Also complete with use sheet and a booklet to learn typing. All in German language so I don't understand a word....

I have been an Italian typewriter collector for many many years. At that time, I loved very old typewriters from late 1800s to early 1900s. After a break of a few years I returned to collect typewriters but no longer so old, I prefer now the design of the 40's, 50's and 60's. Yes, I am an affectionate collector of Olivetti, of course, but I'm attracted to all the other brands from that period, not just Italian.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Ursula Portable on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Ursula Serial Number page and the Ursula Portable By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
