I suppose I'm one of the lucky ones. This Royal Companion--essentially a Royalite--works beautifully, and is pleasant to type on. I enjoy the ultra-sleek, sporty look, with a relatively heavy metal body. Simple and to the point.

I am a writer, photographer, web designer, and musician, but I am proudly employed in a public library. I collect music, books, and of course typewriters. Interests include b&w movies, hockey, birds, dogs, cats, coffee, tea, anything British, philosophy, world religions, independent politics, animal rights, and so much more. I'm married without children, and we pamper our two dogs, Aunt Agatha and Miss Madeline. We will forever miss our orange tabby, Bertram. I live in Southern California's Riverside.
