Description:
This typewriter was found discarded and in terrible condition in Hong Kong. Restoration took several weeks. The type sample is my review of the SM7 typed on the machine itself. A beautiful typewriter with a muscular typing action (carriage shift): ideal for those who enjoy a physical typing experience.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia SM7 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia SM7 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
