Description:
Nice no. 71 Senatorial 12 CPI machine. It’s in my hands for one day as part of a chain of typewriter swap events that will conclude with David the Poet coming to pick it up tomorrow. This chain of events included 2 SCMs, a Swintec, a Facit, and ends with this SG1. Less critical than an organ transplant but plenty of intricacies nonetheless. Carriage SN: 7-882527 This machine was picked up by Quentin to be taken from Eugene to Cincinnati for his brother, Tyler. That’s brotherly love rite-chair!

Typing and collecting machines with different typefaces keeps me busy and happily distracted from the difficulties in life-fountain pens, too, and I can write legibly, in cursive, while laying down.
