Description:
Difficult relationship with this nice looking red Kolibri Luxus. My fourth machine and second Kolibri. I thought I needed it since my first Kolibri cannot write in red and has no carriage block for transport. When I bought it on Ebay, several keys were hardly moving. I could fix some issues, but never got the typewriter to working properly.
So it has to go and I will sell it in a couple of days.
What I gained is the insight that my other Kolibri does not have to write in red and that I really enjoy more typing on working machines than doctoring around problem childs. Goodbye you sexy beast.
Update: Sold for 10 Euros to a guy called Thomas who has already repaired 25 typewriters. I wish him good luck and keep my fingers crossed.

I actually use my typewriters to type, so one should be sufficient. But there are way too many interesting typewriters around. However, my space is very limited so I try to restrict myself.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Groma Kolibri Luxus on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Groma Serial Number page and the Groma Kolibri Luxus By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
