Description:
Zbrojovka Brno began manufacturing typewriters under Remington's license in 1931. The Consul's name was used from 1953 on.
The green keyboard shouts "Remington" at first sight.
I am not quite sure about the model #, because in this typewriter the hinged top cover is a little bit different from other #1511 models in the TWDB. Otherwise, it looks like a #1511.
Under the typewriter, code BP-109-M is stamped. What does it mean?
Thanks to Milan Berta, this is a Consul (Zeta) # 1501. There are two in the TWDB, this one is the first # 1501 labelled Consul.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Consul 1501 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Consul Serial Number page and the Consul 1501 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
