Description:
First Triumph/Adler version of this very popular typewriter.
Compared to later models this typewriter has a lot of design differences. Most noticeable are the escapement, spring motor, ribbon spool holders and platen.
Typing action is a little stiffer and heavier than on later models.

I live in The Netherlands.
Most common typewriter brands over here are Triumph/Adler, Olympia, Erika, Olivetti, Remington and Brother.
I collect and restore typewriters to learn about their design and to write with them.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Triumph Tippa on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Triumph Serial Number page and the Triumph Tippa By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
