Description:
One of my four SCM six series electrics. I enjoy typing on this and really am fond of these six series portables. They are solid workhorses and are lightning fast, able to keep up with any speed of typing. I like this muted cappuccino-like color scheme.

I grew up with a fascination and deep appreciation for mechanical business machines. Mid-century typewriters, cash registers and adding machines. To appreciate the magic of these devices and the synergy of gears, springs and levers working together in perfect harmony is quite beautiful and an understated marvel of engineering and quality workmanship that has produced products that work exactly as intended for decades and even a century after they were produced. This is something that doesnât exist in todayâs world. My small collection (currently 14) consists of mainly portables, ultra-portables and a few Smith Corona 6 series electrics, which I use for amateur writing projects.
