Description:
Seems to be fully functional. There's a piece out of its home that points to the placement against the ruler, but needs a little bending back into shape and refitting.
Looks to be Pica typeface.
Repaired early July 2025. Ribbon vibrator spring was missing - replaced with a straight spring by bending the spring-retaining arms a bit to secure it. Also replaced the plate with position indicator arrow which a previous owner had removed while trying to make the spring repair.
Gave it a good clean and sold it on to a new home 7/25/25.

First typewriter bought in 6/2023, now at over 30 in my collection with most recorded in the galleries. There's a special place in my heart for Smith-Coronas, blue typewriters, and typewriters from 1964 (my parents' birth year). Prefer manuals to electrics, portables to ultra portables or desktops, but will head home with anything if it's cheap enough and functional/repairable. I've successfully gifted typewriters to two siblings, a best friend, and an in-law. Keeping up with my lifelong tradition of making and repairing by hand. When not typing or working on a typewriter, I'm often reading, gardening (vegetable), preserving harvests (canning, dehydrating, freezing), knitting, sewing, writing letters/short stories, or shooting film photography. I like the slow, analog life.
