Description:
Sold to a collector in South Range WI. Nice newer torpedo. It has a snappy action but needs a new platen. I think the later models had inferior rubber and it gets really hard.

I have a passion for analog methods of putting words on paper. I own a letterpress shop that helps to fill this desire, but found typewriters also have a role in producing written materials with a value-added dimension. I'm drawn to working typewriters and renovate them as I am able. I'm pretty handy with things mechanical. Overall, I feel more like an enthusiast with a collection that will get used by design. I understand the temptation to buy them all, but I don't have a store to sell them in. I'm also no expert in repair, so it's a matter of finding the best typefaces and typing feel that helps me to get words on paper. Type on!
