Description:
One of the earliest Brother typewriters, a JP-1 with wire paper rest, manufactured sometime in 1961. The Valiant was sold at Gambles in December 1961, and soon across the country at various retailers. This machine and my (Brother) Bradford are the two earliest specimens.
