Description:
A member of the typewriter discord was looking for a qwerty typewriter with French accent symbols and a small font size (12CPI). I found two typewriters that fit the description. He chose this one. I picked it up, removed it from the bottom plate (rubber sections of the case lock did not form back out of place. Removed and replaced those), got the seized escapement back in working order (needed a good flush and afterwards fresh oil) and put felt where there used to be (disintegrated) foam on the bottom plate. Now it has been shipped to the United States.
18-nov-2021: arrived in the states!

I fell into the typewriter rabbit hole due to nostalgia: I used to have a massive Olympia SG1 when I was a kid. It formed my typing habits, which is why I am called a "furious typer" by my coworkers. Came across the r/typewriters page on Reddit which rekindled my love for these wonderful machines. Lets just hope I don't start pushing screens off my desk when I reach the end of a line...
I also have a modest Youtube channel where I document the progress of my typewriter journey: https://www.youtube.com/@Slug_Life
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Triumph Gabriele-E on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Triumph Serial Number page and the Triumph Gabriele-E By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
